Development Release: ClearOS 5.1 RC2 |

ClearFoundation has announced the availability of the second release candidate for ClearOS 5.1, a server and firewall distribution formerly known as ClarkConnect: "ClearOS Enterprise 5.1 Release Candidate 2 is now available! This second release candidate has all the features available and is ready for production use. Changes since RC1: remedied most of the slowness caused by unnecessary DNS/hostname lookups; completed graphical console implementation; completed ClarkConnect upgrade implementation; fixed text encoding on report page; fixed the network-multiwan missing group in the installer (gateway mode); improved network and user related pages; fixed some minor cosmetic look and feel issues; fixed time values on the intrusion prevention page has incorrect time values; cleaned up some Samba implementation issues."
